Ilkley & Districts RFB

Ilkley & Districts RFB is the result of a merger between Ilkley & Tanawha Rural Fire Brigades. We are growing brigade with a number of established members and several new recruits. We have four vehicles, and our HQ (The Shed) is located on Cunning Road, just off the Sunshine Motorway exit from the Bruce.

Our monthly meetings occur on the 1st Monday of every month at The Shed. So if you’re interested in signing up, or even just coming down to meet the crew, you’re more than welcome to come along.

As a Volunteer Brigade we have to be fairly self-sufficient when it comes to generating funding to keep our services running smoothly. To do this we occassionally seek donations from the public, businesses and other associations.

We can be seen down at Chancellor Park Market Place every so often with our Class 4 Vehicle, geared up and walking around with collection buckets. If you see us there feel free to throw any spare change you might be carrying into our buckets, or even just stop for a chat.
